Mega grumpy!
Today one of my online buddies suggested we play Baldur's Gate 3 in the group chat. For once, all four of us were down, so I got excited. I hadn't played in forever and I've been missing it a lot. But I went to get updated and I keep getting errors :( So I won't be able to play tonight. Big bummer! I was so excited to commit shenanigans with the fellas.
I think I'm extra grumpy about it because I was looking forward to creating a character. And I've been stuck in a creative rut recently, so it felt like the creation process was going to be refreshing.
Oh well.
Curating my new tumblr side blogs (

whimsigoth) has helped me treat the art block / burnout a little. I don't know when is the next time I'm gonna illustrate something, but I'm also trying not to force it too hard.
For now, my attention has been shifting to either graphics editing or writing. Good? Bad? I don't know but I'm trying not to be too particular about it. I just want to figuratively spill the contents of my brain into the world and I guess right now that looks different than creating a "proper illustration piece.

Here's a picmix of my wrist which I burned with the coffee steam from my mokapot the other day while reaching over it to turn the stovetop off. Featuring the paper wristband from the Remi Wolf concert I wore for 5 days out of some ritualistic act of devotion for how much I loved the show.
