Dear Diary: Sushi & Liquor Store
My partner Blue and I went out to get sushi today!
...But I definitely over-ordered.
I got a Philadelphia Roll, a Rainbow Roll (my go-to), and a plate of Pork Katsu.
The Pork Katsu was really good! So far, the best out of 3 Pork Katsu's available in town. It had a very good crunch! And the rice was sooo tasty, I could've eaten it all by itself.
The Rainbow Roll was reliably tasty, but I'm still trying to find "my perfect sushi choice". So in trying to step out of the comfort zone a bit, I ordered an extra roll. One I used to enjoy years ago: a Philadelphia roll.
And I definitely forgot just how rich Philadelphia rolls can be.
As much as I appreciate the generosity, I might have enjoyed it more with only half of the chunk of cream cheese that they used. Next time, I'll go for only Salmon/Avocado sans the cream cheese.
We also stopped by the local liquor store.
I suspect the store playlist was ran by people our age because it was playing System of a Down, Kings of Leon, and other *oldies* lolol~ Though it could've been a "retro"-enjoyer young'un too.
We are trying a new Tequila... that I may have picked because the bottle was pretty... Graphic design psychology strikes again!

We also got a 2nd Saint Brendan's *Caramel Flavor* Irish Cream. I used the first bottle as a coffee creamer, which tbh while affordable as a liquor, maybe it makes for a pricey creamer (°ー°〃). Definitely a bit of a luxury, so just for occasionally.

Also, got this Cupcake-brand Moscato I enjoy, and this red wine from Portugal. I'm trying to remember which red wine it is that I like, but I haven't had much luck yet. Perhaps I like ~vino tinto~? I wager I've tried it already back home in PR. We'll see how this affordable brand fares.

Found a little berry on my way to the driveway. Maybe a bird dropped it? It looks so yummy! I promise I won't eat it.
I'm just admiring it!
